  • Kermadec Nikau

    A stunning Nikau from the Kermadec Island’s. Fast growing, more arching shape than its cousin the Pitt Island Nikau. Tolerates full sun and windy spots. Palm becomes a feature with light green trunk contrasting with dark green crown. The foliage of the Kermadec Nikau is a lighter green than the Pitt Island Nikau.

  • Pitt Island Nikau

    One of the world’s most southern palms, also known as Chatham Island Nikau. New Zealand’s only native palm, our specialty, and biggest seller. Dark green foliage, fast-growing after 1st year, fertilize twice a year for best results. Very hardy tolerates full sun and has a tidy appearance compared to other strains of Nikau in New Zealand. Can be distinguished from other varieties by it shuttlecock shape.

  • Sapida Nikau

    Much faster growing than our mainland native. Very cold hardy and stronger than other Nikau. Beautiful dark green upright foliage that truly sets it apart from the rest. Very tidy habit. A must for a lovely lush tropical feel.

  • Bamboo Palm 'Chamaedorea'

    An easy to grow, clumping palm with abundant soft fronds, and slender, bamboo like stems. An excellent palm for screening when planted in groups, or ideal for use in smaller gardens, under planting or next to pathways. The palm fills out quickly and will create a lush, tropical look. Best in relatively sheltered spots in part shade to full sun. Works well indoors or in planters and containers outdoors.

  • Phoenix Roebelenii - Date Palm

    This delightful little palm is a favourite landscape item and is widely grown. It enjoys a warm frost-free environment away from strong winds and though it will tolerate full sun, it will do better if a little shade is available. Likes good drainage. Makes an ideal pot plant for indoors or outside in the appropriate spot. Slow growing but with it’s small stature and delicate lacy appearance, make it an easy care palm that everyone can enjoy.

  • Cycas Revoluta

    This unique plant resembles a palm tree but is actually a cycad. This plant is the most popular of cycad available and with it’s very symmetrical shape it is a highly attractive plant. The thick shaggy trunk supports a crown of shiny dark green leaves. Good drainage needed and fertilise regularly.

  • Kentia "Howea Forsteriana"

    Kentia is an upright palm with beautiful, arching, dark green leaves. Can be grown as a container plant indoors as they will tolerate low light levels, but will also grow well in a bright, indirect morning sunshine location.

  • Sugar Cane "Dypsis Baronii"

    A really stunning specimen for smaller gardens, or as a smaller dramatic palm in a larger garden. The arching trunks and feather like fronds which form this palm give it a classic tropical look. Best in a sheltered, shaded site, however it can take full sun as well.

  • Strelitzia Nicolai

    A large, evergreen, paddle-leaf shaped perennial which produces white and pale blue bird shaped flowers sitting in a dark purple- black bract.These can take a surprising amount of wind before the leaves will start shredding, however an exposed site, prone to constant wind would be best avoided.
